Male Infertility

Infertility in a man is known when their sperms fail to conceive with the eggs even after twelve months of unprotected sexual intercourse. The factors that contribute to such infertility may be related to genetics, anatomical, or environmental reasons. In numerous cases, the underlying condition or reason for infertility cannot be determined. Hence it becomes imperative to consider professional assessments and tests for better clinical diagnosis.

Male infertility is becoming very common. Today, one in every eight couples face problems in getting pregnant or nurturing a pregnancy. If you go by statistics, approximately one-third of infertility is attributed to the male partner. At Veer IVF (Vivf), we try to ease the complex process of diagnosing male infertility by checking in with patients’ history and physical examination followed by semen analysis, testicular biopsy, and hormone evaluation. Initially, we try to identify the reason behind infertility and then suggest treatment for producing enough healthy sperms via medication or surgery. Choosing these treatments can help patients in reversing the cause of infertility and attain conception naturally.
